Embattled Wikileaks CEO Julian Assange has gone Hip-Hop in a new viral video circulating on the Internet featuring him rapping.
Assange drops rhymes in a cameo appearance on episode five of the popular Australian political satire "Rap News." In the latest episode, titled "News World Order: War on Journalism."
The clip, which was recorded prior to Assange's website Wikileaks released 250,000 classified cables sent from U.S. Embassies all across the world, has already garnered over 400,000 views.
The Melbourne-based Rap News skits are produced by University researcher Giordano Nanni and English teacher Hugo Farrant.
"He was full of creative ideas for how to act and time the entrance, and he really enjoyed lampooning his own image," Farrant told the AFP.
Meanwhile Assange faces serious charges. He was recently jailed for nine days in Britain and is fighting extradition from Britain to Sweden, where he is being accused of sexual misconduct with two Swedish women.
